This is the official blog of the Student Recreation Center at Montclair State University. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday 6am-12 midnight and 8am-12 midnight on weekends. While it is indeed true that we are a top-of-the-line facility with all of the most update workout equipment, an Olympic size pool, racquetball courts, and a large gymnasium we are much more than your average fitness establishment. We are one of the largest organization on campus with over 400 employees. We offer an abundance of Group-X classes including Zumba, kickboxing, cycling, yoga, and even jujitsu! We run the majority of the largest events on campus during the year like Price is Right, Minute to Win it, and much more. We host monthly trips to all kinds of events and places. Everything we do is in an effort to better the community, the university, and all of its students and staff. We are more than just a gym.
